Chara's stomach growled as they ran. It was a familiar ache, which made the thought all the more soothing: that where they were going, they wouldn’t need to eat anymore.
Eating was so much work. Getting up in the morning, only to be met with the challenge of getting along with those people who called themselves “parents”—so much work. They wished they could just go to sleep and not wake up again, but such thoughts were fantasy.

Summary
Naph doesn’t trust this Jayce fellow just yet. He knows about him, of course, but only as a celebrity famed for defeating Viktor all those years ago (according to word on the streets), and as a mysterious figure from Viktor’s past (according to all the weird shit Naph keeps finding around Viktor’s house). This makes it doubly weird when his ward shows up at Viktor’s place out of nowhere, he himself comes to get her, and he and Viktor engage in a screaming match that devolves into them blushing at each other like the maidens in those dumb Piltovan plays Naph hears about sometimes.
So if he decides to sneak up to Piltover to figure out what the hell is going on between the two of them, surely it can be excused. Anyway, better to apologize than to ask for permission—Viktor couldn’t disagree with that.

By the time Chuuya gets the news, it’s already far too late.
“What? ” he hisses into the phone. On the other end, he can hear the shallowness of Gin’s breath, giving away the turbulence of her emotions in spite of her practiced steadiness, before she resumes speaking.
“He threw himself off the roof, and by the time we got to him he was beyond saving. Cleanup crews are on standby. We’re now waiting on your orders… Boss.”
In the aftermath of the boss's death and Akutagawa's invasion, the Port Mafia is in utter disarray. Next in line for the highest responsibility, Chuuya steps up to clean up the mess, trying hard not to let his emotions get the best of him. Unfortunately for him, grief is patient, pervasive, and agonizingly relentless.

Chuuya has a crush on Dazai.
Dazai knows this, and he thinks it’s a prime opportunity to mess with his partner a little. After all, why not? Chuuya’s reactions to his flirting are priceless, a new little bonus feature to the game between them, and Dazai actually starts to find it more entertaining than outright arguing.
It’s all harmless fun until Dazai realizes that he has feelings too. Then it's decidedly not.
