"Enid." Wednesday can hear the wreckage in her own voice. Her head is foggy, dizzy, and she wonders, briefly, if this is what it feels like to swoon. "I've told you to keep your observations to yourself."
"I can see what I do to you now," Enid says. "And I can't wait to feel you."
Enid sets fire to her insides in the greatest crime of arson in history. If nothing else, Wednesday has to admire the artistry of such carnage.
