His head whipped back up at the sound, eyes landing at the very front of the line. Standing in front of the high striker, which was now celebrating with a cheery jingle and a party of multicolored LEDs, was the most beautiful man Kim Dokja had ever seen. Broad shoulders leading into bulging biceps, tantalizingly compressed by a criminally tight black turtleneck. Beautiful, magnificent arms… that were reaching up to grab his baby from the carnival shelf.
Kim Dokja unwittingly let out a loud wail, falling to his knees.

(Maybe, maybe he had a friend once, one born of paper and ink and messenger birds sent far away, but it has been so long since he’s last heard back that he doesn’t even know if the recipient is still alive. Some days he thinks it’s a dream, his own subconscious pitying his solitary life and gifting him his only friend, a sweet hallucination of his own.)
Thus, Yoo Joonghyuk was long resigned to being alone. His future was always meant to be one of solitude.
And then, suddenly, it was not.

No one’s supposed to get them right the first time.
But Bam did, again and again, bright sparks from his wand lighting up the Room of Requirement that Aguero had found earlier in the year. Aguero can’t help but be mesmerized by Bam in action, golden eyes absorbing the movements like he was just a casual observer, but then perfectly replicating the form, the intonation, the intensity of the magic.
His best friend was fucking amazing, and he didn’t even know it. Aguero was going to help him find out just how amazing.

Summary
There's really only one problem with the whole 'recently awoken from a two year coma' thing, and it's not even physical. The case he was kept in had retained his strength- some shinsu bullshit, which seems to be the primary explanation for most things within the Tower. No. His problem.
His problem is Bam.
(aka s3 bam is surprisingly loud and active about how much affection he holds for khun. khun tries and fails to cope with this.)
