After her disastrous visit to the Emerald City, Elphaba Thropp is newly dubbed the Wicked Witch of the West and an enemy of Oz. Forced to spend her life on the run, Elphaba continues fighting for the Animals of Oz, believing that she's all alone in her mission against the Wizard. Unbeknownst to her, Fiyero Tigelaar, newly appointed Captain of the Gale Force, is in love with her and has spent the past year secretly working to assist and reunite with her, risking everything to do so.
This fic centers around the events of Wicked: For Good, from the POV of Elphaba and Fiyero. I have made a few changes to several of their scenes from the film and added new ones to give Elphaba and Fiyero a little more time together.Bookmarked by cikanzig

Elphaba jerks midair, a sharp, broken sound tearing from her throat. The broom dips violently, lists to the side. For one terrifying heartbeat she’s weightless, barely holding on, her magic sputtering like a dying flame. Then she rights herself, sloppy, wrong and bolts west, vanishing through the canopy.

It didn’t take her long to figure out how to operate the oven, as well as the stove, and if she wasn’t making a new dress, she was in there preparing some wonderful meal or baked good.
