Just wishing that by some miracle this was actually just a very vivid nightmare that she would wake up from at any moment. Then another movement from Galinda reminded her how real it most definitely was, and Elphaba had to suppress a whimper. She released a slow, shaky breath, just hoping that Galinda wouldn’t feel it brush across her skin and wake up. Her soft, perfect skin that was currently nuzzled right up against Elphaba’s neck. This had to be some form of sick, twisted torture that was perfectly curated to make Elphaba go absolutely insane.
