HEADCANON:
Before Remus Lupin was appointed to the post of Professor of Defence Against The Dark Arts in Harry’s third year, he served as substitute teacher at least once when one of the previous teachers fell prey to the jinx. (After all, you don’t just suddenly become Professor. You’ve got to show some kind of experience or prove your ability first.)It was during one such term that Remus Lupin encountered a 16 year old pink haired witch who had a gigantic crush on him. What happened next would make the antics of the Marauders seem mellow in comparison.
