Gorou's words come out slightly shaky. “What do you mean?”
“Well, tell me what I mean. What you want, how much you want. I mean, you remember our word, right?”
Gorou is slightly embarrassed at how desperately he nods. Onikabuto. He’d never had to use it before. Itto knows that. Gorou’s eyes break away from the mirror and look straight up into Itto’s, and from there, he musters up the same courage he summons before stepping onto the battlefield.
“Anything you want,” Gorou admits. “You know I trust you.”

Gorou's canine senses take over and he chomps down on Itto. Itto decides Gorou can't get away without punishment.

Alhaitham also took note of the way his tail made small, restless movements side to side, often indicative of anxiety. The forest watcher’s brown and green eyes appeared glazed over and unfocused; the drug was definitely taking effect.
“What about you General, anything to report?”
The white haired man was leaning back on the couch, with his arms on either side of the head rest.
“Don’t call me that, we’re off the clock,” he grumbled. “Nothin’ to report anyways.”
Despite his claim, Alhaitham didn’t fail to see a matching distant look in the Mahamatra’s exposed eye. His speech was uncharacteristically slurred, reminiscent of when he’s a few drinks in at Lambad’s Tavern.
The Sumeru boys get high on mushrooms and chaos ensues.

"I don't want to make anyone a widow," Tighnari said, relentless in his answer. "I don't want my lover to cry for months, even years, after I'm gone. It's not fair," he countered, avoiding Cyno's pleading gaze altogether. Tighnari's heart was beating with a heavy ache, longing for Cyno to understand him. He was filled with fear and uncertainty of his future. Tighnari was scared of what Cyno had said; dying alone, without anyone to comfort you. He knew his heart wanted to love and be loved in return, but the inevitable separation was already too close. It was a constant battle between the heart and the mind. All it knew was that it wanted to find someone it loved, but the fear of death made the heart hesitant to take that first step.
In which, Tighnari has shorter than average lifespan, and Cyno lives up to 700 years. Now that's a dilemma.
