Bonnie sighed.
She had the after party concert for her series today, and for weeks, she had been talking to Emi about it. It was an obvious sign for the older to attend, and up until yesterday, it had seemed as if Emi had caught onto her intentions. However, Emi had another schedule on the same day she had the concert, and with it being 500 kilometres away, Bonnie wasn't sure she was going to make it.
Still, preparing for the disappointment doesn't make the fall hurt less.
"It's okay, P'Mi. Have a safe flight, okay? Text me when you arrive."
Yet, what Bonnie didn't know was that, on the other side of the phone, Emi was already at the airport, in a suit, with a bag of Souri in her hand and a heart she wasn't going to break.
