    Summary

An interlude from Roshan’s point of view.
A glimpse into the pieces of his life he never talked about, the things he carried quietly, and the moments that shaped the boy readers met only at the end.

“Rough first day, huh? Don’t worry. Happens to all of us.”

She stayed quiet, eyes sharp. Roshan just wanted to wrap her in a blanket like a burrito.

    “So… what’s your name?”

    She hesitated. “Cassandra.”

Roshan had to restrain his eyebrows from flying to the roof, his face frozen. At least he knew it wasn’t Apollo who’d named her. He wondered if her mother hated her, but he was not about to ask her that.

    Summary

    Sometimes, she saw flashes.
A boy with sea-green eyes standing on Half-Blood Hill.
    A storm roaring over camp.
Luke’s smile cracking at the edges.
Cass would shake her head and keep working.
Because what else could she do? She wasn’t a hero. But something told her he was.

    ...

Cassandra never went on any quest. She wasn’t a hero, or a chosen one; just a healer watching the world tilt toward war.
The story of five years of gods, monsters, and heroes, told not by the ones who fought, but by the one who watched.
Cassandra, daughter of Apollo, healer and reluctant prophetess, may have never been on a quest; but she's seen what it costs.

A tale of the girl who saw it all but never left the sidelines.

    Summary

    “Where are we going?”
    “Long Island.”
“Why? What is on Long Island?”
“Camp,” he replied, a little exasperated. “Didn’t anyone tell you anything?”
“What camp?” she was pretty sure she sounded like an idiot to him, but honestly, she was pretty clueless. She’d never left Vermont before.

Cassandra’s childhood was quiet, lonely, and full of unspoken cruelty. When a sudden turn of events forces her to leave home, she finds herself on a journey to Camp Half-Blood, a place she doesn’t yet understand. Afraid, angry, and unsure of where she belongs, Cass begins to discover what it means to be different, and how bitter the first taste of freedom can be.

    Summary

He came to her bedside as a stranger named Lucien, carrying sunlight in his smile.
She was dying, and he healed her.

But gods never give without taking.
When she finds herself carrying Apollo’s child, she learns that some blessings burn brighter than they should.

    Or

    Apollo healed a dying mortal.
    He called it mercy.

    She called it a curse.

A little backstory of my OC, this work is part of a series.
