Everything hurt. Oh god, why did everything hurt so much?! His chest, his head, his arms, his legs, his eyes. They all stung and ached with the knowledge that the people he lived and worked with wanted nothing to do with him. His limbs shouted at him just like they did, screaming that he was useless, that Thomas and everyone else would be better off without him. He wasn't an emotion. He was just a condition.
Breathing unsteadily, Virgil slowly unraveled himself from the tight ball he had formed to instead reach for the small metal object on the bathroom floor. It glinted in the white light as he brought it closer. A thin, grim smile stretched across his face as he stared at it. Okay. It's time.

“FUCK YOU, TECHNO!” Tommy screams, about to get up when Phil protests and gently tugs him backwards with another ‘follow, follow’ noise.
Damnit. His hands are tied and he has no options.
“You devious motherfucker,” he forces a scowl and leans into a scritch. “Trickery.”
“Why don’t we buy eggs?” Ranboo says, ignorant. And…
Hell.

- "The Nature of Belief": Jack Frost just wants to be seen. A little hard, when you're a myth among myths, and not even your fellow spirits can see you. It only gets harder when the Man in the Moon decides Jack is to be a Guardian. But how is that even possible, when the only thing that even knows you exist is a little tooth fairy? (Or: Jack's heart breaks a lot, Baby Tooth is a damn good friend, and Bunny will eventually make away like a bandit with Jack Frost.)
- "The Coming of Someday": The one thing Jack Frost had always wanted was to be seen. And now that he is, he has no idea what the hell he's supposed to do. Three hundred years of loneliness and trust issues don't just go away, and it's a long road ahead before Jack will finally reach that true 'someday' he's been longing for. Of course, the sudden onslaught of memories he's been getting in his sleep may also serve to answer a few questions as well.
