Summary
Seungmin remembers that face like it was yesterday—kind eyes, a perfect nose, and beautiful lips that stand in direct contrast to his well-built physique. He remembers the oddities of his penchant for consent and letting Seungmin do whatever he wants, recalls fantasies of seeing him again whenever he’s being especially vulnerable on lonely nights.
Changbin is correct for the second time today. Fate works wondrous things sometimes, indeed.
Alternatively: Seungmin has long abandoned the world of baseball, as it only surfaces unreachable what-ifs and bittersweet memories. Enter Bang Chan, who brings him back to that life in more ways than one.

Summary
“I ran off,” Seungmin starts, looking straight into Minho's eyes with a look that's not at all foreign, “because I had a boner. I’m not getting all up in the team’s victory cuddle pile with a stupid boner.”
“Uh,” Minho manages after what felt like forever, willing his brain to refrain from imagining what that must've looked like. “Oh. Well, that makes sense then.”
“Aren't you gonna ask why it happened?” Seungmin asks, that typical look of challenge and something else still written all over his face. He steps into Minho's space, not unlike a predator stalking prey.
Minho's breath hitches at their proximity, at the very least managing a soft, “Only if you want to tell.”
Minho thinks Seungmin's mad at him. The issue is another thing altogether.

Summary
It's right in the middle of the book when something falls out of a page Chan turned—a slightly yellowed cardstock that fell on the blank side. When he flips it right side up, he discovers that it’s a library card from a little over a decade ago. He sees a faded photograph of what appears to be a kid in elementary school, with thick-rimmed brown glasses and a surprisingly good haircut. The name scrawled at the top corner is mostly washed out, but the address listed right below is fully intact.
It's somewhere in the same town where he lives. Chan gets an idea driven by a feeling that borders on desperation.
Love through letters, shared through the rain.

Summary
"Hyung," Seungmin says gently, cupping Minho's chin and tipping it upwards gently so they're now looking each other eye to eye. "You'll never be too much to me. What you feel and what you want is my priority, okay? You don't have to keep everything to yourself anymore. I'm going to listen, always—and I'm going to try and understand."
"Really?" Minho asks, still in utter disbelief. "Even if I tell you that I don't like it when other people look at you with even the slightest bit of interest? Even when I sometimes want to hide you from all of our friends and the rest of the world? Even when it's stupid that I'd want nothing more than to call you mine and mine alone?"
Kim Seungmin is Lee Minho's. His and his alone.

Summary
"Is it good?" Seungmin asks curiously. Minho nods easily, not thinking much of it, seeing as this flavor is his favorite after all, the combination of the chocolate flakes with the strawberries practically perfect.
Minho doesn't realize he walked into a perfectly laid trap until it's too late, Seungmin grinning like he thought of the funniest joke in the world as he says, without any trace of shame, "Bet it tastes better off your skin, though."

Summary
The promise he utters beneath the stars is as sacred as it is laced with venom as Seungmin utters, with as much pure loathing as he could muster, these few choice words towards an unfairly amused Minho.
"I vow to the heavens that I will do anything and everything to stop this wedding."
Little did he know, these very words will change their meanings as time passes, a testament to the fact that the stars will find a way to bestow their fate.

Summary
"Is leaving the only thing you're good at, Kim Seungmin?" asked Minho, the frustration in his voice so deep-rooted and raw. "Has it ever occurred to you that we have higher chances of making it out of here alive if we work together?"
"But why would you choose to do that?" Seungmin asks, thinking he's being generous. "Why would you willingly stay with a person who hurt you—"
"Because it's the apocalypse, you dumb idiot," replied Minho, finally letting go of Seungmin's hand. Despite the throbbing pain being gone at last, Seungmin chooses to mourn the loss of the warmth of Minho's palm against his.
Sometimes, a second chance is all it takes for love to bloom even in the direst of times.

Summary
"You're making a what now?" Jisung asks incredulously over coffee, in a quaint little place that felt vaguely familiar to Minho. He sighs deeply before responding.
"A letter," Minho replies firmly. "For Seungmin. Anniversary gift. I need your help because I suck at words."
Jisung looks around the surroundings, as if he's considering something. The next time he speaks, there's a teasing tone to it. "You do realize this is the same exact café where you told me you wanted to divorce him, right?"
Minho's jaw dropped at the mention of the info, the utter irony of how things worked out between him and Seungmin hitting him like freshly-pouring hail. "Really? That's ridiculous."
Jisung could only smirk. "Told you he was pretty nice."
Minho couldn't even mask the smitten look on his face—an expression he doesn't let his face contort into quite often—as he thinks fondly about his and Seungmin's journey into the love they both now inexplicably share. The smile on his face is unwavering as he says, with a sweetness so uncharacteristic, "Yes. Yes he is."

Summary
"I was expecting you at five," Minho admitted. "Yet here you are, two hours early, prancing in with new people for me, as always. Don't you want to keep your clients? The institution of marriage is a sham."
"Please don't go cynical on me right now," said Seungmin seriously. "And you married me, you recall? Or have I hallucinated the entire process, from your proposal to the lovely honeymoon?"
Minho scoffed. "Whatever. It is merely because you are a divorce lawyer. Easier to break it off when I want to."
"Three years today, and yet you never have," Seungmin says dreamily. Minho, once again, pointedly ignores the statement.
A day in the married life of divorce lawyer Kim Seungmin and marriage counselor Lee Minho.

It was unmistakable—the lewd, wet noises of crashing lips and comingling tongues, issuing from the interior of Minho's office. Jisung knew it wasn't his business to pry, but the weight of the papers on his case muffled his better judgment.
Opening the door, Jisung bears witness to something he didn't expect to see in his entire lifetime.
(He did anticipate it, truth be told, but that didn't mean he wanted to witness it personally.)
Breaking the silence, he awkwardly asks, "So, uh...are you still up for the divorce?"

"You're telling me, right now, that we're all going to face an inevitable, very painful death?" asked Jisung in a very horrified tone, his facial features contorted in an expression of worry.
"Theoretically," Jeongin replies, brows furrowed in thought. "Sometimes the 'looking into the future' thing is confusing, ya know?"
