He can’t be older than 20.
Golden skin and grey eyes with sinfully long eyelashes, a chaotic nest of gelled curls on his head, wearing an almost-transparent grey t-shirt paired with impossibly tight black jeans over his endless legs. He looks up when Steve comes into the lab – summoned by Tony to check out the latest suit redesign – and bites down on his plush lower lip and smiles shyly at Steve.
So, so fucked.

He hadn’t forced his way to the front of the pack, but everyone had fallen in behind him anyway. Except for Bucky. Steve had refused to let him go, even when Bucky protested he would be fine. Steve could tell he was not in fact fine at all. He was pale and constantly shaking, almost like he was cold. Beads of sweat dotted his forehead, and his gaze was vaguely unfocused. He looked haunted. And weak. Even with Steve carrying most of his weight it was slow going. He was tempted to pick Bucky up again— one, so they could get away from that hellhole that had done this to him, and two, so he could hold him close.
