“Mydei,” Phainon’s eyes widen, shocked at the reveal of the other Chrysos Heir’s feelings. “You hate me?” He doesn’t take it seriously. Drunk Mydei is a different beast to sober Mydei, and drunk Mydei says the most misleading things.
“Your eyes are blue like the sky and the yellow looks like Kephale’s Dawn Device,” Mydei snarls. “Except—” He hiccups— “‘Cept it’s yours. Your sky. And there aren’t any clouds either, because you’re always so level-headed and clear-minded and how can you possibly be so normal?”
“Woah there Mydeimos, it’s beginning to sound like you’re complimenting me,” Phainon warns, hands raised as he backs away, shrinking in his seat.
