“You want it?” Daniel asks.
Armand is doing that thing where he’s biting his lips, his fingers rubbing over his thumbs like a seismograph going off the charts. He does eventually nod though, pensively, eyes still hooked on the coin.
“Yes. Yes. I think I’ll return tomorrow, during opening hours, and—”
He doesn’t get to finish that sentence, because Daniel smashes his elbow through the display window. It’s bulletproof glass, but, to paraphrase some pretentious asshole, what is mere glass to a four-year-old vampire?
Or: Armand attaches himself to an antique coin. Daniel obliges. (It's not really about the coin.)

“It’s the primal shit that you just cannot hide. So go ahead,” he demands. “Say what you’re thinking.” He’s close enough to close his mouth over the kid’s neck but he doesn’t, he won’t, not until Guy confesses he wants it.
Guy can’t breathe. He can’t move and he can’t speak and he cannot admit that he’s undeniably turned on right now. He forces himself not to acknowledge it, but the arousal pools and lingers through the riptide of fear that washes over him in waves.
Guy won't say what he really wants. Jasper makes him.

Summary
Daniel is a vampire now, abandoned by his maker, forced to figure things out almost all by himself. He's been unreasonably hungry lately, and it started to freak him out, because the thought of becoming a mass murderer is not the most pleasant one. Coming to Louis for answers, he hears a possible explanation for his wild hunger that makes absolutely no sense.
“Armand? Not eating?” Daniel asked, extremely skeptical. “The vampire who used to stage nightly hunts for desperate athletes all the way to Burj Khalifa just because it seemed entertaining to him - that Armand suddenly decided to go on a hunger strike? In December?”
Or: Armand is depressed after his last fight with his one and only fledgling. Daniel finds his maker to talk some sense into him, because their bond makes him hungry too. It goes... surprisingly well?
