Summary
The Buck thing is new; or as new as anything can be, when Eddie and he have known each other for close to eight years. Eddie knows the face Buck makes when he’s gassy, his favorite food (Bobby’s lasagna), the fact he can’t handle the usual heat of Abuela’s alcoholic salsa but he’ll try eating it anyway. Buck knows Eddie well too, but not like this: ravenous, greedy, untiring, un-human. He’s careful with who he lets know that.
Buck has been intense about Eddie long before they kissed. Buck has also been pathologically accepting of everything about Eddie –fur in all– since they first became friends. Eddie knows there’s nothing he can do to, or show him, that’ll push Buck away; maybe that’s what scares him so much.
-
Werewolf Eddie goes into his first rut since having started dating Buck. He can deal it with alone (he doesn't.)

Summary
“Sid, I’m so—I’m sorry,” Geno said. “My stupid—I’m ruin everything, I—”
“Shut up, Geno,” Sidney said, already intensely weary of listening to Geno’s self-recrimination. “You’ve barely even done anything.”
Geno’s voice dropped what sounded like an entire octave. “But I want to.”

Summary
Because here’s the thing about Buck. The thing about Buck is that he likes simple sentences. Easy to follow instructions. When, where, what, how. Buck is smart, of course, and he can understand and infer and deduct from context clues and body language. Technically. Technically, he can do these things. But he prefers not to. He doesn’t like to guess. He doesn’t like to guess, because guessing makes him nervous. And Buck hates being nervous. Doesn’t everyone?
But Buck hates it more than most. Buck likes reassurance, he likes knowing things for certain. Because if he doesn’t know for certain, he’ll stress and he’ll ruminate and he’ll twist himself inside out and backwards wondering and worrying and assuming the worst. And when Buck assumes the worst, he makes terrible decisions. So it’s just easier this way. It’s easier to cut the middle man and for Eddie to decide things for Buck.

Buck moves out of Eddie's house in Los Angeles. A month later, Eddie and Christopher move back in.

Summary
Once everyone heads off to the bunks after dinner, Buck wastes no time in dragging one of the stools from the kitchen over to the Tetris cabinet, where he, too, settles in as if he were getting into bed.
The cabinet is new but the interface is a replica of the original, and when he boots the monitor up, Buck is faced with pixelated fireworks and a cartoon version of Saint Basil’s Cathedral. He nudges the red joystick and the main menu pops up. The left side of the screen reads YOUR GOAL IS TO FILL LINES!
Buck cracks his knuckles.
or, Buck plays Tetris. And a lot of it.

Summary
Eventually, Eddie clears his throat. “How aren’t you okay exactly?” he asks, voice steady.
“I’m just…” He waves a hand in the air. “I’m just not,” he settles on. “You know, I wanted to be. I really tried. But nothing is helping.” He thinks about what it was like to sit on that floor and know Bobby was going to die. He thinks about what it was like to know he couldn’t do anything about it. “Don’t think I ever really got off that floor.”
Eddie hums. “That sounds rough,” he says, voice strained. Buck can tell he’s holding himself back, and of course he is. They haven’t talked like this before. This was the only way for Eddie to get Buck to open up—and why did it have to be? Why couldn’t Buck just talk to him? “Do you feel stuck there?” he asks. He’s looking down at the clipboard he brought with him. “On that floor?” he clarifies a moment later.
Eddie acts as Buck’s therapist.

Summary
“So,” says Buck, pulling away from Eddie’s mouth. “I’m living in your house.”
“You are."
“Do you think— I mean, I should do something, right? To show my, uh. Appreciation.”
Eddie squints at him.
“Is this a bit?” he says.
