Summary
"Maybe Boyd and Winona would be the only ones who understand it. That something in you permanently changes when you fall in love with Raylan Givens. When you give up something of yourself to him only for him to leave and never return, to push you away, to break your heart, and then come clawing back for it. Raylan loved Winona, and he loved Boyd. Sometimes, if Tim had imagined it hard enough, maybe he loved him too. Raylan could never stay; he was never meant to. But Boyd Crowder would always be the one thing to bring him back."

Summary
“You’re here for a reason, Dr. House. Every caretaker has one,” the bartender, now House remembers his name is Lloyd, explains. How he knows that he’s not sure.
“I want to be with my friend,” House tells him.
“Why? You were with him before, weren’t you?” Lloyd asks. He has a gentle smile on his face.
“This is the last time I can be with him,” House says. His drink suddenly seems too cold.
“He’s dying,” Lloyd realizes. “You want him to die here.” -

Summary
He shakes and fumbles for his phone. Fingers numbly typing the numbers. It lands on the first person, Wilson. His heart pounds. His vision blurring, unsure if it’s from the blood loss, the pain, or the tears.
“House?” Wilson answers, tired and groggy with sleep, voice already sounding like he expects the worst. House never calls this late. House finds it difficult to speak. How does he even explain this?
“Need you. Bathtub” is all House can get out. His head swimming with something akin to delirium. -

Summary
After the war, Nate Fick is ready to leave the Corps behind—but he’s not ready for the silence that follows. Brad Colbert stayed in, and now he’s not sure what he’s staying for. Ray Person? He’s just tired of watching them circle each other.
When Nate moves to New Hampshire and finds an old, broken guitar in a thrift store, he doesn’t expect it to hum when no one touches it. He doesn’t expect the ghost that comes with it either: 1stLt. Edward “Hillbilly” Jones, USMC, 1944, killed on Peleliu, still waiting for the man he loved.
The guitar—Caroline—is a tether. Between Eddie and his past. Between Nate and Brad. Between the generations of Marines who loved too quietly, too late.
This is a story about ghosts and guilt, memory and music, love and legacy.
And what happens when someone finally answers the silence.

Summary
Eddie’s voice knocks him silly again as he meets his eyes and breathes, “Jesus Christ, Andy?” Then he is striding down the porch stairs and colliding, full-bodied, into him. He nearly knocks them both over. And Eddie’s mother is calling his name, admonishing him for cursing, but Eddie says it again, this time right by Andy’s ear, his voice tight with tears, “Jesus Christ, Skipper.”

Summary
The war is now behind him, a dead thing, but it follows Carwood still, a terrible ghost that has made him its haunt. He no longer knows himself and feels untethered in his own hometown. There is still blood on his hands that he can't wash off and there is a man stuck in his mind that he can't move on from.
There is nothing to be done about any of these things. It's just a matter of how long he can bare the weight of it all on his shoulders.

Summary
It's just simpler this way. A silent acceptance and unspoken agreement that their kiss never happened. It's been erased from their history. She pretends she doesn't remember. He pretends he doesn't care.

Commences four months after 4.12. Carrie is still with the CIA. Quinn is still in Syria, presumably. Curiosity gets the better of her.COMPLETE
