In the midst of a strange and chaotic phenomenon that engulfed the land, Harumi unexpectedly found herself stranded on an unfamiliar island. The surroundings were teeming with hostile creatures and other menacing entities relentlessly pursuing with the intent to annihilate her. Desperately seeking refuge, Harumi's eyes caught sight of a tower standing tall on a small island within reasonable distance encircled by treacherous clusters of jagged rocks.
Update: I have decided to discontinue this fic because the plot and the story was overwhelming me and I lost motivation to write it. I also felt like it was really boring and it wasn't giving me a strong drive to continue on. I am so sorry. 😭💔

Summary
After the defeat of the Overlord, Harumi no longer wanted to walk the path of darkness and deceit. And despite everything that had happened, Lloyd had shown great grace towards Harumi and treated her with unwavering kindness. Harumi had finally let go of all the hate and rage she had kept all those years. However, a strong sense of guilt and self-loathing replaced them. Lloyd's goodness to her has made her feel even more undeserving of his kindness. Due to her guilt and shame, she turned herself in and pleaded guilty so she may receive deserved punishment for her misdeeds. Her voluntary imprisonment devastated Lloyd, and knowing that she was in solitary confinement did little to ease his pain. Seeking solace and understanding, he visits her in prison, determined to see how she is faring in the depths of her self-imposed penance.
