Summary
Seungmin's phone lit up—the clock read 01:52 a.m.
The faint blue light emitting from the screen couldn't compare to the lights of the tunnel he was standing under.
Its walls arched above Seungmin, colossal and immense. He felt small in the presence of such a monumental build—an awe-inspiring feeling. One that sat heavy within him and deepened his breaths.
He had to call Changbin.
(or: Seungmin learns that thoughts kept and hidden within us are lifeless, and it's up to us to breathe life into them. He finds the strength to undo his mistakes and reconnect with his best friend.)

Summary
Seungmin whimpered. Just a small, high-pitched sound he didn’t mean to let out. His cheeks immediately turned red, and his eyes dropped to the floor. Suddenly, the polished, wooden floor seemed to be the most interesting thing in the world.
Changbin froze. ‘Did he just fucking whimper?’ He blinked, then mentally filed that away in a drawer in his mind that had ‘Weird things that’ll haunt me later, keeping me up at night (probably with a boner)’ written on the label.
He adjusted his grip, holding both wrists easily with one hand. They were so slim and delicate, as if they could easily be crushed under Changbin’s strength. His other hand grabbed Seungmin’s jaw, gently but firmly, tilting his head back up until their eyes met.
“And look at me when I’m talking to you.”

But bad decisions happen, and all it took was a short pep-talk from his friends at the studio and one too many cups of soju, and Changbin picked up his phone to send a very incoherent and typo-ridden text to one of his few single friends Seungmin before pocketing his phone and continuing the rest of his night with a drunken conviction that all his troubles would soon come to an end.
Waking up the next day with a terrible hangover and seeing a text from Seungmin that only read ‘sure’, Changbin had a very ominous feeling about how this would go.

or: In a desperate attempt to convince his family not to worry over his love life, Changbin asks Seungmin to act as his boyfriend during a trip home for the holidays. It goes as well as you would expect.
