every once in a while i come back to re-read this and it never fails to make me want to take 6'1 feet tall adult mr. Brown into my arms and hold him like a puppy. every. time.
and of all things about this fic, the title is what got stuck with me and think about often... i can't explain why.
it works perfectly as a single one-shot. i like stories that simply end in a type of unresolved cliffhanger, but i would also like to know if this has an happy ending.

(read a long long time ago, when i first watched the series)
i think this is the first fanfiction i subscribed to. this may be the only first person fic (that i know of) that captures perfectly the thoughts of a character in this point of view. and it's even more special because... it's Sherlock, a really intelligent and very eccentric character, very hard to write even in third person. might give it a second read if i suddenly decide to rewatch the series!
