Katsuki tuned out Deku’s usual peppy response and grabbed his gym bag. He dug through the pockets until he found his snack - some salted nuts.
Sweat contained both electrolytes and water. He just had water to drink today, so the nuts were to replace the electrolytes today.
Katsuki opened the bag and tossed a few in his mouth.
He grimaced at the taste and made a mental note to restock his sports drinks.
He had never been a big fan of peanuts.
Included in other dishes they could taste incredible (especially if they were spicy) but on their own?
Meh.
Katsuki’s chewing slowed, brows furrowing.
Something was wrong.
Why was his mouth tingling?
Katsuki stopped chewing and looked at the package of nuts. It didn’t say it was spicy.
“What the fuck?” he mumbled, swallowing and looking closer at the bag.

His eyes welled up with grateful tears. This was so—ah! He had to raise a hand up to cover his watery grin. His heart was about to burst!
The All Might was calling him.
And then his stomach dropped.
The All Might was calling him in Gushiken-sensei’s mathematics class.
In Izuku’s mathematics class, his teacher—Gushiken-sensei—has established his infamous Ringing Phone policy. Whenever a student’s phone rings, they must answer it in front of everyone. On speaker.
Luckily for Izuku, no one seems interested in calling him!
Well, except All Might, who apparently doesn’t know what exactly constitutes a situation where he needs to give his successor a phone call.

He digs his fingers into Adachi’s shoulder, pressing his nails hard into the skin, and he feels it when Adachi’s entire body stiffens. “I can’t hear you, Adachi.” He swallows and prays that he isn’t crossing a line. “Look at me when I talk to you.”
Adachi finally turns his face toward him, eyes wide and cheeks cherry red, and the vulnerability in his gaze makes Kurosawa want to cry. “I want you to,” he whispers. “I w-want you to be rough with me.”
