Summary
Al-Haitham hums, sitting back in his seat. His eyes get that look they always do when he's thinking– at least that had stayed the same– before he put his hands in his pockets.
“You can stay with me, if you'd like,” he says all too casually as he pulls a hand back out his pocket. “For the time being,” he adds on a little too quickly, “until you manage to get yourself out of the mess you’ve made.”
Kaveh was about to open his mouth to protest. Like he'd ever take an offer from him, especially with that attitude.
But then Al-Haitham slides a key across the table to him–golden, with emerald embellishments, a carbon copy of the soulmark on Kaveh's arm– and the words on his lips dissipate into the warm tavern air.

Summary
Alhaitham really liked his routine. It was easy to follow and predictable. Everything was always in the right place, where it should be.
When he returned home today, he expected the usual dinner with a side of playful banter.
He didn't expect this.
Kaveh was standing in the living room, surrounded by suitcases and boxes. He was filling one of them with what little books he had, taking them one by one off of their shared bookshelf.
Alhaitham felt like someone had poured a bucket of ice cold water over him.
He changed his mind. Today was a bad day.

Summary
When Kozume Kenma joins the Tokyo Ballet Company, he changes Tetsuro Kuroo's life.
For most of his life, when asked why he danced, Kuroo would respond with a simple ‘I just love it.’ That phrase wasn’t everything he wanted to say, but it was enough. Dancing was his only outlet - the only language he could use to express himself. And for a long time, that answer felt adequate.
Then, one day, everything about his reality changed. Suddenly, ‘I just love it’ didn’t feel accurate. It fell short of everything he wanted to say. Even when he tried to pass that statement off as the truth, he felt like he was going to choke on it, as if his heart had leapt into his throat and was trying to kill the words before they passed his lips. Saying ‘I love it’ felt like a betrayal. This answer wasn’t right anymore - maybe it had never been right. How could it be right when it made no mention of Kozume Kenma?

Summary
It’s not that Dazai doesn’t think about sex. He’s caught himself with his gaze fixed on the dip of Chuuya’s hips in the past. Chuuya, the unstoppable force of nature that found no qualms in introducing himself to Dazai at fifteen. Dazai, an unmovable object, with an entourage of fake friends and a silver tongue.
Chuuya, pretty with a sort of anarchic beauty you only find on otherworldly creatures; ethereal in ways no deity could dream to rival. Chuuya, loud and foul mouthed, just and compassionate. Also the greatest pain in Dazai’s ass.
