“Lower your voice.” Jace glanced back to see that Simon was still talking, laughing and smiling, completely oblivious to the internal meltdown Jace was having across the bar. “I don’t have a crush. I just—” He paused, not sure how to put his not-a-crush into words.
“Want to stare at him longingly from across the room while he sings love songs?” Magnus kept his voice low, but it was still full of sass as he continued, “Want to see how long he can hold you up against the wall of the training room?” And then he said in a more sultry tone, “Want to drag your teeth down his abs?”

He knew they told themselves they put up with each other for Clary's sake. He had realised, recently, far too belatedly, that it was a bold-faced lie for the both of them. Even when Simon ought to hate Jace for so many reasons he would be unable to list them all, here he was, in Simon's bed, like it was the most normal thing in the world.
set during CoFA, a slight canon divergence scene where Jace does break up with Clary and spends a second night at Simon and Kyle's apartment. doesn't fit into canon exactly, you'll just have to suspend your disbelief ever so slightly. I promise it's worth it <3

Bob fades into the memory. He’s looking at Bucky with worry, and fear, but also some sort of curiosity. Bucky looks at him, and his face must have a truly awful expression on it. Bob tears up, and shrinks back, like he’s trying to make himself as small as possible. The walls of the run-down apartment start to fade into the shadows, and for just a single second Bucky considers trying to stay in the memory. Just one more minute, He thinks frantically. Just to hear Steve say it one more time.
“Bucky!” Yelena yells, and Bucky is suddenly pulled into the real world once more.

Bob slips up. Bucky... Doesn't mind. Bob and Bucky find some common ground.
