The day the world went sideways Grian would say started calmer than most might expect. There was no looming sense of dread, no rumbling storm, no warning crows perched neatly atop power lines. It was as though the world had taken a long breath in - and this was the inhale, the normalcy, before everything went under.

The words echoed in his head as his fist banged against the succeed button, only succeeding in it giving him the same task - ‘Win Secret Life’ - once again. He had done it! He had won! Why wasn’t it sending him home?!
“I WON!” Scar yelled up at the Secret Keeper, its carved features not giving him an ounce of attention. “Let me go home!”

Summary
Why was he so stupid?
He should have been able to do something so simple as a trap - a successful trap that is. Instead, he had gone and failed, faced the humiliation of the consequences, and to make things worse, died before even halfway through the session.He had set two records that day - the first to unintentionally fail as the boogeyman, and the most lives lost in a singular session. It wasn’t an achievement. It only furthered the utterly humiliating way he had died.
