Cortese attacks Amphipolis and young Xena tries to defend her city, but she is defeated and enslaved. Cortese continues his raid, attacking Potidaea and also enslaving Gabrielle. These enslaved women follow different paths in their lives, but they meet again and perhaps, together, they may change their tragic fates.

But her words die in her throat when she turns her head and finds herself face-to-face with the strangest little droid she’s ever laid her photo-receptors on. The one wheel that serves as Its body is a light shade of pink, with even lighter purple markings dotting it at random intervals.
