Beomgyu coughed, gripping his phone tighter. “Everyone canceled on us, hyung. It’s just– just us now.”
“So?” Yeonjun answered without hesitation, as if that was no problem at all and he couldn't understand Beomgyu’s point. “We can still go together. I already bought a tent and everything,” Yeonjun continued, making the younger boy gulp. “We are going,” he finished, his voice final.
“You bought stuff?” Beomgyu asked, incredulous. He had just planned on using the group’s shared gear, he hadn’t even thought of buying anything new, so Yeonjun must’ve been really excited about their camping trip.
“Of course I did.” Yeonjun huffed, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “So don’t bail on me too, Beoms.”
Beomgyu, who’s had a crush on his close friend Yeonjun ever since high school, suddenly finds himself stuck on a romantic camping trip with the older boy after their friends unexpectedly ditch them.

“It’s 2020, right?” The man suddenly asked, glancing back at him. “I’m guessing from the hair,” he added with an awkward grin, his chin tipped toward Yeonjun’s cotton-pink head.
“Yeah…” Yeonjun replied, frowning ever so slightly. Then, he almost choked on his own saliva, “wait–” he cleared his throat. “Are you saying you’re from another year?”
“Well, duh.” His older version chuckled, playfully. “Was I really this slow?” He asked, but he didn’t even sound mean, just genuinely baffled by Yeonjun’s stupidity. Somehow, that stung more.
In late 2020, while preparing for the approaching release of Minisode 1: Blue Hour, the previously quiet TXT dorm received a very special visit from no one other than Choi Yeonjun from 2025.

The way he said it, his raspy low tone, it was pretty damn clear he was being dead serious. However, Beomgyu had to resist. They couldn’t risk it– not here. Not again.
Shit... why was he nodding?
“I’ve thought of some ways too.” Beomgyu actually already had plenty of time to picture a few ways he could show that Yeonjun was his boyfriend as he walked behind the older man back in the long, boring exhibition.
Yeonjun’s outfit for the Dior’s 2025 ‘Designer of Dreams’ exhibition was a bit too revealing– his entire back on display– and Beomgyu is only human, of course he had to make sure that back was either completely unseen… or thoroughly marked up by him before the night was over.

Heat suppressants.
Beomgyu’s stomach dropped. He’d completely forgotten about those. How the hell was he supposed to stay in a house full of untamed alphas without his suppressants? Panic bubbled up inside him. Shit, shit, shit. If this hurricane dragged on long enough, he could go into heat. An intense one too, since he had been on suppressants for so long.
“I’m fucked.”
“Yeah, by Yeonjun. We already went over that,” Taehyun teased, sliding his stuff into the bedside table.
“I’m being serious, Tyun. I’m actually fucked,” Beomgyu said, his voice low and tinged with frustration, the usual playful edge replaced by an unmistakable seriousness.
After a one night stand with frat leader Yeonjun, Beomgyu finds himself stuck in the frat house during a hurricane, with his heat looming and no suppressants in sight.

“Choi Yeonjun,” Beomgyu quickly mutters again, trying his very best not to roll his eyes at the mere name.
Nothing against Choi Yeonjun. Beomgyu has only met him a couple of times after Soobin had insisted he does, and he likes the guy just fine, really. He’s a sweet dude and all that, Beomgyu would just like him a whole lot more if he weren’t hogging his best friend so much.
or, choi beomgyu’s best friend gets a new best friend, and beomgyu doesn’t really see the appeal until he hears said new friend fuck another alpha on new year’s eve.
