Along the way, a mysterious voice tasks them both with reliving memories of a century before, filling in the gaps for Link by showing interactions between him and others, including his own Royal Guard father. Although painful, their task is necessary before they can fully move on to the challenge that awaits them deep below Hyrule Castle.
