Summary
Usually, Jason had a lot to say about the movie’s plot, and Harvey could fill in production details, and they would both pretend to ignore the elephant taking up the bulk of the apartment. Sometimes, that was easy. Sometimes, the conversation was bigger than the elephant, and it was so easy that it almost scared Harvey. But lately, Jason had less and less to say; the latest in gang warfare got bloodier and bloodier; and the elephant in the room got bigger and bigger.
Or, Jason drops by Bullock's one last time before his confrontation with Batman.

Summary
Instead of being found by Talia and the Lazarus Pit, a wandering and brain damaged Jason Todd is found by someone else... Drumbot Brian takes an interest. This is not a good thing per se.
Drumbot Brian is not a good person. His help is not kind. It is kinder than some. It is less than others. It is a help that disregards means – cutting and slicing and bone saws and a ship of Theseus to rival his own brass body and mind – for the ends – the boy lives again, and his mind is intact.
The nerves of Jason's neck and spine and body finally connect to his new head, and his body responds to his shrieking commands. He jerks, uncoordinated. He screams, and his voice is metallic. He reaches for his face and finds smooth metal instead. He screams, and it sounds metallic. He tries desperately to find the latches of a helmet, but he knows even then that there is nothing underneath. He screams, and it is not his voice. He claws at the metal, and the scratches he makes on his neck tell him that his face has no feeling. He screams, and he has no tongue. He screams, and no jaw opens. He screams, and there is nothing he can do.

Summary
Jason finds the photo tucked into a book on his shelf that he hasn’t read. Hidden between the pages of Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson is a polaroid. He looks at it. It’s in clear focus, not over-exposed, nor grainy, yet he can’t make it out. It’s him. Him but with strawberry blond hair he’s never dyed his to be, and he’s squished between two people he doesn’t recognize. A man and a woman with matching strawberry blond hair and beaming smiles. All three are wearing costumes, and a banner behind them announces the Flying Todds!

Summary
Jason gets stabbed and needs to find somewhere quick where he can catch his breath and get patched up. Conveniently, he happens to be near an old friend's place.
“Oh, ya picked the wrong apartment, buddy,” Harvey told the Red Hood, pointing his gun.
Red Hood was sitting underneath the window, a streak of blood marking his descent from it. Funny, Harvey’d thought that window didn’t open. There was a knife sticking out of Hood’s stomach, a hand pressed next to it with blood spilling out between the fingers.
“Yeah?” Red Hood looked up, but if he had an expression, Harvey couldn’t tell. The voice was modulated. “You mean this isn’t Batburger? I just get so turned around.”

Summary
Harvey dropped to his knees and pushed dirt out of the way, reaching for the churning places until he found an arm. He pulled, and a hand punched out of the grave. A second followed. He grabbed both, braced himself against the uneven slope of the hole and pulled.
Lightning lit the scene like a photograph. The face before him was more dirt than skin and wet with rain and blood. The figure was still buried from the waist down. The sky was dark again. By the time Harvey hauled them out of the grave, the thunder boomed. Storm was getting close.
The boy – And Harvey had the horrifying realization it was a boy – coughed and dirt fell from his lips. He sucked in ragged breaths.
“’S’alright, kid. You’re out. You’re safe. We’re gonna getcha some help. Ok? Alright?”
Or, Jason wakes up in his grave, but someone is there to pull him out.
