Summary
10 years after Weirdmageddon, Dipper has finished his undergraduate diploma and is already halfway done with his PhD. He's done groundbreaking work on quantum theory, specializing in dimensional theory, and for his final PhD dissertation he needs to return to the place that inspired and fueled his research. He needs to go back to Gravity Falls.
But, soon after he arrives, he finds that the peace Gravity Falls has experienced ever since the death of Bill Cipher is being disrupted. The Society of the Blind Eye has returned, and when Pacifica Northwest comes to him with a shocking find, Dipper realizes that his worst fears have come true... Bill Cipher has returned to Gravity Falls.
Dipper and Pacifica have to work together to figure out how to stop the unfolding events. Easier said than done, though, when the old tensions from when they were kids start to flare up again.
