Summary
If she squints, Lux can see a hint of red appear on Jinx’ cheeks. And oh if that doesn’t give her an idea that might result in Jinx actually doing some work. “Wait a minute. Jinx, are you blushing? From a little praise? That’s adorable.” It comes as a relieve when Jinx’ blush deepens, her plan doesn’t actually work if that didn’t affect Jinx.
“I am not blushing.” Jinx says, though the red on her cheeks says otherwise.
“You know what? If you’re really good for me today, I might even praise you again. Doesn’t that sound nice?” Lux knows she has only doubled down a few moments ago, but she’s tripling down now, and if this doesn’t work, she can forget Jinx doing anything at all for this project. “And all you have to is be good for the next hour or so, that shouldn’t be too difficult for you right?” Lux desperately needs this to work. Jinx actually participating will cut her workload in half, and if Lux has to stoop to borderline flirting, then so be it.
