Summary
Some spoken rules between them have already been established.
Some of them include: no talking about it, no staying the night, no cuddling, no prying about the other's day-to-day, no touching outside of fucking, no feelings, and most importantly, no telling anyone, including any of the Bats and especially Bruce.
Dick and Jason have been doing a good job at sticking to their little rule book so far.
(Or, the usual "no strings attached" turned into "I love him so much I cannot breathe".)

"Do you also wake up with tears on your face?" Talon asked, and the earnestness of the question caught them both off-guard.
"Are you even capable of tears?"
"I wish I wasn't."
(Or, after the fall of the Court of the Owls, Talon is adrift. Until he meets Red Hood, and tries to kill him. Falling in love wasn't part of the plan.)

He’d expected that. Jason chuckled at her taunt, pushing off the wall. He pulled the cigarette from between his lips, breathing out a halo of smoke. “You got a free pass last time,” he said with a shrug. Truth, for it’d been Tarantula’s machinations that tipped Babara’s relationship with Dick over into heartbreak, saving her full blame and, as such, a grave. “You can thank Catalina Flores for that.”

“It’s like a beacon,” Dick said around the mouthful of the alarmingly red venison chili he had ordered online. He was seated on the kitchen’s barstool and was gesturing at the helmet which Jason held across him on the island. “It’s bright red, Jay. You’re almost giving people permission to hit your head around like a baseball.”
or: jason's melodramatic and his helmet keeps breaking. things aren't really this simple.
