Oikawa loves nights like these. He loves sitting here in their small living room with soft music on in the background and the lights down low while they enjoy each other’s company. Sometimes in silence, like tonight, or loudly — laughing and talking, watching something on tv curled up together on the couch.
The only thing that would make it better right now would be if Suga — in his borrowed glasses and oversized t-shirt — were close enough to reach for.
Oikawa wants to run his fingers through Suga’s hair. He wants to drop kisses all over the pretty curve of his neck and watch Suga’s eyes darken from honey to copper.

Anyway, the point is: Hinata is loud. It's something Kageyama gets used to, comes to expect, sort of maybe looks forward to every day. He doesn't even think Hinata's loud on purpose; it's just like he has so much energy that it comes bursting out of his throat in the form of words.

Summary
Kageyama knew it wasn't smart to make such callous remarks while Hinata was clearly desperate for a bathroom. What he didn't expect though was for his tactlessness to lead to a holding contest between him and Hinata. And Kageyama refuses to back down from a challenge... even one as unexpected as this.
(Basically Kageyama and Hinata have a pee holding contest because Kageyama just can't keep his big mouth shut when he sees Hinata in a Desperate Situation.)
