You were hired to work in the castle under Doctor Devorak’s wing, at what seemed to be the peak of the Red Plague. Like anyone else assigned to such a gruesome task, every passing day carried a heavier load of sorrow, pain, and regret on your shoulders than the last. You had come into this position hopeful that you and your master, as you called him, could have a breakthrough. You did not doubt his abilities, and as of late, your hope had renewed that a cure was up and coming, as Julian had announced he would be taking a short leave in order to hone all of his focus on a vision that had come to him, what he believed was the cure. You would need to hold your own until he returned, a task that sounded easy in theory.

basically my rendition of mc’s canon plague death during julian’s route. maybe not entirely canon compliant considering what we learn from asra’s route, but i honestly just wanted an excuse to make this as sad as possible because i’m a terrible person.

Summary
After murdering the school bullies and your abusive parents, you escape into a nearby forest to be caught in the freezing rain. A certain pair of black dress shoes approach you just before you fall unconscious. You later wake to find out that you're inside the fabled Creepypasta mansion! Slenderman wants you as his Proxy, but you must complete his trials or face becoming the next victim of one of the residents.
During your time at the Creepypasta mansion, you begin to learn about a war unbeknownst to the human world. It isn't long before you get caught up in its terrors. You make allies and enemies. Feelings well up within you about a certain someone, but he never seems to feel the same way.
