After a big change, it is natural to feel a little bit lost. Natasha lost the love of her life because of her own doing, and everyone else she ever cared about in the process. Years later, she operates as a SHIELD agent, partnering up with her lost love's best friend. As they grow closer, she argues with conflicting feelings inside herself and the urge to open up to one of the only people she is close to. Unfortunately, that is the last person she feels she can confide in, especially when a mysterious sniper resurfaces and Steve begins to ask all of the wrong questions.

Talking about a life she could never have with a man out of time felt a little too similar to her conversation with James the day they were caught, where he told her he had always wanted something more, something they could never have together.
