“What are you doing?”
“Russian Roulette. I would ask if you want to join, but I’m already three shots in.”
Sam blinks. Bucky stares.
In one swift movement, he pushes the barrel of the revolver into the skin on the bottom of his neck, and before Sam can even take two steps forward, he pulls the trigger. There’s a click.
“Four.”
He has the audacity to look nonplussed, perhaps even disappointed at the lack of a bullet in his skull. Needless to say, Bucky doesn’t flinch at the tinny clang of the trigger falling back into place, patiently waiting for a finger to push it once more.
But Sam sure as hell does.
