Summary
Tom looks around. He's in his bed. In his quarters. Captain Janeway is gripping his shoulder, waking him from his nightmare. She's in his bed, too. She's not in uniform. Her hair is down. It tumbles over her bare shoulder, a fine satin strap the only other cover.
He settles into consciousness. But still he can’t make sense of his situation, as if he’s skipped to the end of a chapter of his life.
"Captain?" He asks, voice saturated with bemusement.
"It's okay, Tom, it's me."
"What are you doing here?" He doesn't mean to sound rude.
"I don't know," she says quietly.

Something or someone is playing tricks on the captain. How do you solve a mystery that leaves no clues?
Set towards the end of season two, between Innocence and The Thaw.
