“Y'know what Emily? Go get fucked! I'm leaving.” JJ finished still seething with anger as she stormed out of the office and past the glaring eyes of her colleagues who tried, and failed, to avert their gaze, still attempting to process what had just happened before themselves.
She sunk into the couch under the weight of her actions, putting on some shitty new dating show that she said she couldn't care less about, her lips hung around the bottle's in a desperate kiss as she drowned herself in alcohol as her apartment around her started to turn into an unintelligible haze.
Still, as her blood alcohol levels rose, her mind kept reverting back to Emily whilst she continued to debate if she was in the right or wrong. JJ couldn't stop debating within herself when her phone started to ring. She picked it up and as she read the caller ID her wine glass fell out of her hand and onto the rug below her. Emily had called.
