    Summary

Belle, a reserved writer, never imagined that her daily visits to Ruby’s café, a provocative and bold barista, would lead to a misunderstanding that could change her life. When her cousin Aurora sees them together and spreads rumors of a romance, Belle’s family starts pressuring her about a relationship she doesn’t even know how to deny. Belle sees an opportunity to rid herself of her family’s persistent interest in her love life and ends up claiming she’s in a relationship. She’s then forced to join her family on a cruise with her fake girlfriend, who accepts the invitation for her own reasons. In a situation where Belle tries to hide her discomfort and Ruby plays along, the tension between them begins to turn into something much more complicated—and captivating.

    Summary

Greaseball doesn't have a great track record with emotional intelligence. She's tough, she's strong, and she doesn't need anyone else to rely on. That's how she's always been.

Until she gets sick, that is, and she's forced to admit that maybe, just maybe, it's okay to be a little weak sometimes.

That, and it's definitely quite nice having Dinah around.

I have tagged all the characters and relationships as best I can up to Chapter 194, please scan through and see if there is something you want as I have tried my best to organise it in an easy to read and navigate way.

Anthropomorphising/humanisation of characters (especially physically) will vary

(Apologies in advance for my limited knowledge on the history of this very complex production, please do give notes in the comments! I will do as much as I can to understand the characters but forgive me since I have only seen the 2024 London production, so am working with mostly vibes an research, so please please please give me notes in the comments about what is right and wrong for the characters - be brutal if a character seems off)
