He’d certainly never anticipated that what the world attributed to some unidentified hacking collective would be the work of a girl who looks like she still gets carded at the pub.

“Closer to flicking the v’s,” Price smiles—less at the joke, Ghost thinks, than the strained admiration he can feel leaking into his voice. “Kept pushing intel through their firewalls until someone finally read it.”

“Put her on Kate’s radar.”
“As a terrorist, or a potential hire?”
Price grins at him around his cigar. “Shades of grey, Lieutenant.”
She’s a curse. He’s a corpse. Somehow, this is a love story.
