“Wait,” he takes the map and steps closer to Ada, almost tripping, “why wait there? Can't talk here or go together?”
And before either of them can fit in another word, a horrid and haunting amount of heavy footsteps approaches. Hunters, soldiers from afar kingdomds, witch hunters - none of these stop, they hunt and sacrifice any person in sight. Everyone runs inside their homes and bunkers, every tavern and inn fills as the windows get locked and people pull down the curtains or wooden protections.
