    At 43, James Barnes is a washed up old man. Well, one of them anyway. He’s a man who’s given up on finding joy in his life, and if it wasn’t for his kid, he’d have probably found a way to quit the world a long time ago.

    Enter Steven Grant Rogers, struggling twenty-something, orphan, and someone who has no idea who Barnes is, other than some musician his mom liked a lot.
    The two men meet by accident, doing nothing more than passing the time in a quiet bar. But when a pap gets a shot of the two men embracing, Bucky takes it as a chance to finally come out as bisexual, and his agent makes him a proposition: Ten new songs and one very sweet boyfriend will get him a new record deal that will maybe, just maybe put him back on top.

    Now all he has to do is write the songs, convince the kid, and not fall in love. Should be easy, right?

    One year.

    That's all the time Prince James "Bucky" Barnes has left before he's crowned King of Brooklyn and all the responsibilities of ruling a kingdom fall upon his shoulders. The expression heavy is the crown can't ring any truer. Unfortunately, Bucky knows very little of the kingdom he's meant to rule since his Regent Uncle has been doing it in his stead for the past fifteen years after the tragic death of his parents.

    After an unexpected announcement is made by the Regent, Bucky realizes the only way he'll ever experience anything is to run away with his dæmon, Winter. But one night on his own is enough to have Bucky ready to call it quits. Roughing it is definitely not for him. That is until he meets Steve Rogers and his dæmon, Captain—Brooklyn's most notorious pair of common riffraff thieves.

    Bucky's view of himself, the world, and everything he's ever learned will be tested while he's with Steve and his ragtag team of misfits. And some hearts will be changed forever along the way.

    Sam Wilson thought he'd gotten used to the crazy antics that came with being a certified member of the Avengers.

    Aliens and crazy monsters and government conspiracies are one thing. Having to play nanny to a pair of rambunctious, out of control, tots he needs to hide and protect is a completely different story. Especially when those rambunctious, out of control tots are none other than the de-aged supersoldiers themselves -- Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes.

    But having to run after toddler Steve and Bucky may have some surprising effects on Sam's life since it's a lot harder than he realized to hide himself from the eyes of a child.
