“Then what’s wrong?” Oh no. “Did I offend him in some way?”
Yoimiya wrapped her hands around Thoma’s ear, blocking out unwelcomed eavesdroppers and adding to the suspense; even Sayu leaned the teensiest bit closer.
“I’ve been serving the Kamisato siblings tea for years; from festivals to events, casual drop-ins, you name it. I know their orders inside and out. But Ayato, he’s always been a bit of a wildcard; you’d be lucky to get the guy to drink the same thing twice!”
Hm, that did sound an awful lot like how Thoma imagined he would act on other occasions.
“But Thoma.” She smirked, then, as if stumbling upon something immensely beguiling, tapping the tip of Thoma’s nose like he was five years old instead of a graduate student. He huffed and swatted Yoimiya away while she laughed, eyes still brilliantly alight with newfound fascination.
“That was the first time I’ve ever seen Kamisato Ayato finish a drink.”

Current WIP: A world is destroyed and its only survivors: Tartaglia, Zhongli, Kaveh, Kaeya, and abyss prince Aether, time travel to before their world was erased from existence. Cue them all teaming up to stop it from happening again ( featuring VERY confused adepti, Qixing, Archons, and harbingers getting dragged along for the ride)
