Summary
Immediately following Tagah’s return to the eternal wind, Aang finds himself still grappling with the internal conflict that is navigating the loss of his people and culture amongst fulfilling his duties as the Avatar/mentor. Despite not being a boy anymore, the weight of it all adds tension to his now-broadened shoulders all the same. The emotional wound where grief has made itself a home, aches in his chest with a dull throb. Some days it is a distant pulse beneath his sternum. Other days it is as though the edges, bloodied and open, amplify pain in reaction to what he perceives as the smallest of triggers. He has come to learn that the path to forgiving himself will also leave scars, primarily visible to him.

Summary
After the realization that Aang is the last monk alive from Skyveil Realms, Aang sets off to fulfill a lifelong mission: to avenge his fallen kin. But when he finds out his real identity as the next Avatar, fate changes his course to acknowledge the unbalanced worlds and the discontented spirits wronged by the previous Avatar wreaking chaos in the mortal world.
With the rising power of Emperor Ozai looming over the horizon and his developing feelings for Katara, Aang has to decide whether or not he chooses love for her and his friends over balancing the spirit and mortal world once more.
AKA; a completely new world of ATLA characters set in a more D&D setting.

Dealing with a serious nerve injury, Katara hasn't been able to use her hands for months. She can't waterbend, or write, or... do other stuff. What's a girl to do?

Katara’s mouth rounds. She’s not entirely sure why she’s shocked. Aang being a monk seems rather obvious, now, given the shaved head and tattoos, but she supposes it must be his age. Every Air Nomad monk she’s met— of which there hasn’t been many, admittedly— has been old, gray, and wizened.

“Who… who are you?” Aang repeated intensely at Kuzon’s answering silence. Katara looked back at Kuzon to see him smiling, all teeth. It wasn’t the playful grin she always saw on Aang’s face. It was something sharper, distorted; so unlike Aang that it only terrified her further.
“I’m Kuzon,” he answered simply. Aang’s face only grew more bewildered as his own voice echoed back at him. “You don’t remember me?”
