Gossip of a cursed video, one that after watching, you'd be marked with the fate of dying seven days later.
In Izu, that's where Utahime said they'd watched it, on a spontaneous trip, where they'd all holed up in a cozy little cabin—all without Satoru. “We are not postponing our vacation just because you suddenly have a business trip.” She had told him over the phone; it was hardly a vacation, he thought, two days wouldn't be nearly long enough for him.
Well, nobody had died yet. Then again, it'd only been five days since they allegedly watched this cursed tape.
And as previously mentioned—it’s only a rumor. Probably.
He’d left it at that, without a second thought or any particularly strong concerns.
Then, two days later, he gets the call.
Or,
Satoru's friends die after watching a cursed tape and he goes on a mission to stop it from happening again.

It’s just Gojo and Megumi on the couch, and his never ending fucking talking.
“Yuuji-kun is so cute! Where’d a guy like you even find him? He’s too good for you.” Gojo speaks with a cocky grin, scooting closer to Megumi.
Megumi isn’t scrawny anymore, not some teenager easy for Gojo to punk around. He’s grown to look like his father, someone he knows Gojo is not too fond of through word of mouth.
“He’s perfect for me.” Megumi says, reaching a hand over to push Gojo away from him. Gojo doesn’t budge.
Megumi is sick of Gojo taking things that don't belong to him.

“Takes one to know one, daddy.” Gojo hikes his pants up with a lazy grin, holstering his gun. “Same time tomorrow, got it?”
Gojo pivots as he tucks himself back in, stopping just before he exits the room. “Oh, I almost forgot,” he says, snapping his fingers. “Visitation’s this weekend, isn’t it? You wouldn’t wanna miss out on seeing your kid again, right?”
Yeah, it is. Toji doesn’t even need to hear him say it, he already knows where this is going.
The implication is clear.
“See you tomorrow.” Gojo laughs, blowing him a kiss before walking out.
