Bilbo Baggins has travelled to New Zealand across half the globe for most of the past year. Their trip had been an amazing escape and he'd seen so many strange and wonderful things... but it has to be just that. It's almost Christmas, and it's time for Bilbo to return home.
Trouble is, his dreams are being interrupted by the deceased brother of his-- Well, what is there that Thorin hadn't become to Bilbo anymore? He's the leader of their expedition, his closest confidant, Bilbo's dearest friend. And it seems Frerin won't leave him alone until Bilbo has agreed to stay.

Summary
Hobbits can only see colors once they've touched their soulmate, the colors fading with time. This is a problem when Thorin accompanies Bilbo back to the Shire after the reparations in Erebor are underway. Bilbo had written to his relatives back when things were better between them that he'd found his colors, but seemingly hadn't managed to make himself inform them that he'd lost them again, something that Thorin is only now realizing how much he regrets.
So just for this trip Bilbo asks Thorin to help him convince his relatives that he is still able to see colors. It will only take a few touches here or there, and don't worry, nothing will come of it.

Summary
Bilbo was not sure what he had expected when he had agreed to supervise the restoration of Erebor House, on the lonely tidal island in the North sea, but it was not this. The winters up here are cold and harsh, and there is a strange feeling on the air, thick with the brine of the sea and secrets to which he is not privy; there is some part of the long and troubled history of the place that has not been spoken of, a shadow between the broken family gravestones and the caves beneath the cliffs, dark and dangerous.
Perhaps it is all in Bilbo’s mind, but as the nights grow longer, he starts to doubt it, and as Thorin sinks ever deeper into black and incalculable moods, he will have to find what has been lost, before it takes them all.

Summary
While suffering from his line's obsession with gold Thorin Oakenshield rashly makes an agreement with the Shire's Thain that results in him having to marry one of the hobbit's relatives.
Needless to say he isn't pleased, but cunningly picks Bilbo Baggins to be his consort in revenge against the Thain. For his part Bilbo decides to accept the proposal, though Thorin will be quite surprised to find out why.

Summary
After suffering the loss of his parents young Bilbo is quite unsure what will become of him. Thanks to a letter his mother wrote he comes to be in the care of Lord Fundin who is the Steward of the Blue Mountains. Lord Fundin's sons Balin and Dwalin welcome the lost hobbit as a brother. Through them Bilbo is brought up as a dwarf and learns all about their intricate culture. When a dragon attacks Erebor Bilbo fears for the fate of his brothers and hurries to the Lonely Mountain. He learns that they are well and that the young Prince Thorin managed to rally support and defeat the dragon. Unfortunately while he is there Bilbo catches the eyes of several notable dwarves (much to the worry of his brothers) and yet seems entirely unaware of it (cause for further concern). As events pass Bilbo starts to wonder just how much Took he has in his blood, certainly no proper Baggins would have these problems.
