For all she knows, Villanelle could be climbing into the window of her flat’s bedroom right now, stealing things and leaving stupid trinkets for her to decipher. She could be there to kill Niko. She could hide in a closet until Eve gets home, and slit her throat skillfully. Brilliantly, beautifully, and gracefully. Would she pull one of her assassin-like tricks and use a hairpin, something inconspicuous? Or would she come at Eve, guns blazing, and penetrate her skin with a bullet and leave the mess to rot?
