"Link’s eyes opened with a jolt, and when he saw where he was, and what was happening around him, he let out a disgruntled gasp.
He was back in Hyrule… except that he wasn’t. He was above Hyrule. Much, much higher and above the fields of Central Hyrule, falling through the sky from an altitude even higher than the tallest Sky Island he remembered visiting during his travels. The wind flew into his face, sending his hair into an intense, frantic dance behind him as his body entered and then left a cloud of mist...
Zelda was still unconscious, or she appeared to be, as he watched her body fall into another cloud, quickly followed by his own. Finally, Link saw the ground of Hyrule below them. Hyrule Castle floated still in the distance, and he located a lake of water that he estimated would be more than close enough for them to hit with more than enough time to spare as his and Zelda’s bodies inched closer and closer.
I won’t miss you again, Link thought to himself, the position feeling all-too familiar with his right arm extending out to her.
He closed his eyes.
'I won’t lose you again,' he whispered to himself."

Link and Zelda reconnect after a long journey spent apart.
