"So what I am gathering is," George started counting on his fingers, "He bought you a car, spent the whole night waiting under your window for one glimpse, got you roses, saved your father from the mafia and beat another alpha half to death for looking at you? In that order, yes? All within one week of meeting you?"
Oscar nodded begrudgingly.
"Osc honey," George had that look on his face like Oscar was being particularly dense, "If Alex had done even one of those things I would've given him the mating bite."
Oscar scoffed.
"You would marry Alex for the roses, you simp."
"I would. But that's not the point." George went one undeterred. "The point is, you are literally the omega lead in a romance drama and you keep ignoring the rich male lead who worships the ground you walk on."
"First of all," Oscar had to put things into perspective for George the hopeless romantic. "He burned down the car Dad gifted me. Second, what you call worships the ground you walk on is actually stalking and is a criminal offense. Lastly, did you miss the part where I told you he is literally in the mafia?"
