The pictures make The Sun in October, about a week before the Ballon d'Or gala. Jude's dragging himself out of an ice bath at the Bernabéu when the family group chat starts going off like a firecracker. At first he thinks maybe Mum's sending more of those muscle recovery YouTube videos that have dominated her algorithm lately, so he wraps a towel around his waist, teeth chattering, and trudges back to his locker before he thumbs the thread open.
Mum: Jude, call me when you have a minute https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/7025910
Jobe: ???
Jobe: oh shit
Jobe: tbh edges looking good tho bro
Mum: Jobe please
Jobe: what, im just sayin
Jobe: stop gatekeeping ur barberWhen Jude clicks into the link, the bottom of his stomach drops out completely.

Summary
For the vast majority of athletes competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the biggest and most obvious thing that was on their minds was making it to the final and winning it all for their teams and countries. But, for Pau Cubarsí, there was something even more important than winning the World Cup on his mind and that was his more than embarrassing crush on his teammate and best friend, Lamine Yamal.
Or
Pau has been crushing on Lamine since the 0-4 El Clásico in 2024 and is dead set on keeping it a secret for the rest of his life. So, what exactly is he supposed to do when the lines begin to blur between him and Lamine during the most important tournament of their entire professional football careers? Will they be able to figure things out and manage their newfound relationship while also fighting for what could be Spain’s second ever victory at the World Cup?

Summary
After an accidental mating bite Phainon comes up with a fantastic (terrible) plan to just bring both of his friends with benefits together at the same time so that maybe, maybe in the heat of the situation either of them will allow him to regain his dignity.
(Except he's just an idiot, they both really love him and are already excited they get to spoil him together :>)
