After almost a year, Mike finally gets to see Will and El in California. But of course, things get complicated and Eleven has to leave. Thinking she might be in danger, the California team goes looking for her. Mike tries as hard as he can to ignore his headaches and nightmares, and to fight this weird feeling that keeps growing inside him when he's with his best friend.Basically a rewriting of Stranger Things season 4 (vol. 1) where Mike gets Vecna'd and where Byler isn't just queerbaiting :')

Will felt his heartbeat begin to speed up again at that statement. When he found the courage to lift up his gaze, he saw that Mike looked equally as shaken.

once they arrive back into Hawkins, things are already going wrong for Will. It all started with the nose bleeds, the clocks, the damn painting. But.. that's just coincidence, right? ...right?
OR: Will gets possessed by Vecna not even seconds after arriving back into Hawkins. What people will soon find out however, is that it's not always music that saves someone, but voices of those you love. In Will's case, it's a certain someone he's liked for a long, long time.
