The door clicked open.
His body recoiled before his mind caught up. A flinch through his entire frame, muscles pulling tight as though something cold had driven straight down his spine. His breath stuck. Saliva lodged in his throat. His heart stopped, then slammed hard enough to hurt. His eyes snapped up- couldn’t stop themselves- widening for a fraction of a second he couldn’t hide.
And there he was.

Summary
Injured and unable to teleport back to the school, Gojo Satoru brings his students to the first safe place he could think of. He survives with the hesitant help of those around him and takes an unplanned trip down memory lane, bringing everyone with him. In doing so, he may or may not hatch a plan to save what’s important to him even if it means making as many enemies as he can afford to make.
(AU: canon divergent in that Getou never declared war and unleashed an army of curses, so Gojo hasn’t killed Getou, but everything up to that point remains the same.)

Summary
The darkness outside the window felt so peaceful. Geto knew the world right now was anything but that, but Gojo was looking at him so playfully and Geto couldn’t focus on anything else.
He missed this.
He missed the way Gojo would look at him when they were kids, all boyish and like he was baiting Geto into doing something. After he defected, Gojo often looked at him with resentment, even as he pleaded and begged for Geto to come back to him. To come back to him. Like Gojo was his home and always would be, even in sin, even in death.
Geto retakes his body right after sealing Gojo up, and has to learn how to live again.

Summary
“I’m just saying,” Satoru says, like what he’s just said didn’t completely open Suguru’s skull and smash his brain like berries, “now please, sir, might I smoke some of your marijuana.”
“No.” Suguru says automatically, moving his vape away from Satoru’s searching hands. “Also stop fucking talking like that.”
“My man, let me hit that.” Satoru tries, reaching for the pen and tumbling forward. He’s off balance because he’s been drinking– barely but still– which is why he’s not allowed to hit Suguru’s vape. He lands solidly on Suguru’s chest, laughs, and then tilts his face up toward Suguru with a pout. “Suguru,” he whines.
“You’re a menace.” Suguru tells Satoru, pinching his cheek. “Especially when your dumbass is cross faded. Last time you spent three hours crying on my bed because you thought the world was spinning wrong and you were worried about marine life and coastal ecological impacts via the Coriolis effect.”
“Whale fall.” Satoru says suddenly, sounding mournful, and then he puts his head back on Suguru’s chest and bursts into tears.
Suguru pats Satoru’s head soothingly. He does feel vaguely frantic that Satoru is crying, but–
